Kurdugad is a small fort in Raigad range, named after the goddess Kurdai, whose temple is at the base of the fort. It is also known as Vishramgad. It was used to keep an eye on Tamhini Ghat and surrounding region. It is part of the Raigad range of hills. The Fort is said to have been created among the rule of Shivaji. Shivaji's Sardar Baji Pasalkar was included in the work. It was later under the control of Peshawas.
